In addition to donating money and supplies,
which are always greatly appreciated, there are many ways to help homeless
animals. Volunteers are always needed to work directly with animals
at the shelters and clinics, and to work behind the scenes with education,
fundraising, and many other tasks.
Please note: We cannot give a lot of direct supervision to
volunteers. We need people who want to initiate and carry out
projects to completion.
Animal Guardians of Brevard is
entirely dependent on private grants and donations to fund our very
successful programs. Costs approximate $25,000 annually and
are rising, but
countless lives are saved and untold suffering is prevented. So...
We desperately need monetary
donations. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF FUNDS TO FINANCE
STERILIZATION!!!
We also need volunteers to do public relations,
fundraising, and grant
writing. we continue to be the only
local organization that offers financial assistance for pet sterilization.
Please, please, please help GET
THE WORD Out (and some funds in!).
Word needs to get out to the public so they can promote responsible pet
guardianship and support this
effort. Please educate your friends, neighbors, family, and anyone
else you can about the need for a comprehensive program to fight animal
overpopulation in Brevard County. Let's apply some pressure to our commissioners
to take this problem seriously.
Check out Brevard's No
Kill Advocacy Group and see how else you can help.
