Animal Guardians of Brevard received a grant from the Florida Animal Friend license PLATE PROGRAM. Proceeds from the sale of these TAGS fund grants to organizations that spay and neuter animals.  OUR grant for $8000 was designated for the sterilization of pet cats and dogs.  You can support spaying and neutering in Florida, and here in Brevard, by getting these colorful PLATES for all your vehicles.	Thanks to all who have these tags for supporting spay and neuter services!
Animal Guardians of Brevard is honored to be the recipient of a very generous donation from the estate of Mr. William Townsend.  Mr. Townsend’s final gift will save the lives and prevent the birth and suffering of thousands of homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals.  Mr. Townsend was a devoted animal lover throughout his life.  In his later years he could not have pets and instead gave generously of his time and love to Brevard’s less fortunate dogs and cats as a volunteer at his local animal shelter.   We extend our deepest sympathy to those who knew and cared for this thoughtful gentleman.  Such kindness makes the world a better place for everyone, especially the animals for whom Mr. Townsend cared so much.

You can raise money for Animal Guardians of Brevard every time you do an internet search or shop through Good Search.com.  It doesn't cost you anything but helps us pay our bills!  Please support this resource and help homeless animals.

Thanks to Lee Sheldon, D.M.D.,  his wife, Eleanor, and his clients, who have directed donations to Animal Guardians and to the heartworm program at the South Animal Care and Adoption Center (SACC).  In addition, Mrs. Sheldon is very involved in the shelter’s foster care program.

Thanks to Aloha Pet and Bird Hospital for providing space in their office for adoptable SACC cats.  They get extra attention and socialization and have a better chance to find the lifelong, loving homes they deserve.  Aloha has also generously donated veterinary services to spay and neuter cats and dogs, and p[rovide other care, for both Animal Guardians and SACC.

Thanks to Eric Webb and Webb Shutters for generously donating the supplies and labor to construct several socialization pens in the outdoor dog adoption area at SACC.  Socialization areas are critical in allowing people and dogs to meet and bond, and better assure that an adoption will result in a life-long, loving home.   Fantastic job!

Thanks to Eric J. Wood, artist and owner of Eric's Murals and Design, who painted this beautiful mural called "Home Sweet Furever Home" in the lobby of the South Animal Care and Adoption Center.  Eric (r.) stands with Jannie Manuel (l.), SACC Lead Animal Tech, and Dennis L. Peer, VP of Animal Guardians.  What a wonderful job!

Thank you to Michael J. Hazlett, President of American Recycled Plastic, Inc. for generously donating benches for the dog socialization yard at SACC.  Meeting and bonding with a dog who is potentially a friend for life, is a far more pleasant experience because of his generosity.

Hundreds of dogs have been saved by SACC's heartworm treatment program, which is entirely funded by donations.  Special thanks to Maddie and Baylee Asher, and Emily Kaletcher for putting together this board with the name of each lucky dog.

Thanks to Paradise Luxury Pet Estates in Palm Bay for generously donating the proceeds from refreshment sales at their recent BARK-TOBERFEST Open House.   Visit this beautiful place dedicated to dogs having fun!

Thank you to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for their generous grant of $4000 to Animal Guardians.  These funds will help finance our Spay-Neuter Programs for the pets of lower- and fixed- income people.  We are most grateful!

PetSmart Charities has done it again....  Animal Guardians just received a generous grant to help fund our Spay-Neuter Programs.  This organization has donated over $70 million to Animal Welfare groups and has helped over 3.2 million animals find homes!

Thank you SO MUCH to the Bernice Barbour Foundation for a generous grant for Animal Guardians to sterilize of medium and large dogs!  This is greatly appreciated given the relatively considerable expense of these procedures.

Special thanks to the Humane Society of Atlantic County for a generous grant for Animal Guardians' spay-neuter programs.  This organization is a model for humane animal population control and an inspiration to those of us struggling to bring progressive programs to the area.
